Our mission is to reduce pet abandonment, prevent shelter overcrowding, and ease the financial burden on families while creating safe, compassionate spaces where young people can learn responsibility, animal care, environmental awareness, and life skills that strengthen both community and home.

What We Do
The Love For Animals is an Atlanta based 501c3. Founded by Jasmine Crisp an Chicago native. After growing up in the concrete jungle herself, she realized the every urban concrete jungle needed to be rescued. Knowing our pets in the black and brown community, mostly urban and under privileged community. Animals serves as therapy from some folks that have PTSD and C-PTSD. Since we experience, a lot of suffering from depression, anxiety from poverty, trauma from gun violence. She made it her mission to provide her community with animal welfare resources and education. Making sure people had more of a chance to keeping their pets in the household. So pets, people and children can have a better life. Her curriculum program allows students to expand their horizons and find new passions; some could be in animal welfare. Creating a new spark into the children in 2023 The LFA placed 7 fish tanks in 7 Fulton County classrooms, gave away of 15,000 LBs of Pet food. Helped over 180+ families keeping pets in the home . Avoided over 10 rehomes, 1800 baby wipes to mothers in need, served over 350+ students.
